South Canterbury women’s humanatarian effort

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TWO South Canterbury women Marg Stocker and Robyn Harper (above) heading to Nepal on a humanatarian mission.

Mrs Stocker, who has a nursing background, will educate villagers on health and sanitation, while Ms Harper, an early childhood teacher, will teach English, literacy and numeracy.

The women will dedicate seven weeks to a humanitarian project from October 6, following on from work the Geraldine Tramping Club members did at the village last year.

Ms Harper said the aim of the ongoing project was to make a difference in the lives of people who do not have much.
